Who are the best monks you have played with in HA?
I'm just curious... it's almost near impossible for me to find good monks nowadays. If you know anyone who play the profession monk well and are r8/9+, please share with me their names as I'm irritated by failing monks. I decided to post this thread here because it's about general GW discussion, but admins, feel free to move my thread if you find it in the wrong part of this forum. I appreciate everything!

All the good monks I played with have long-since quit the game, so I can't be of too much help. A pity, because I understand the frustration of having braindead monks.

Good monks? Good joke. There are like 10-15 decent/good monks left in the entire game, across all playing formats.

perfected, kalibanov, bryan (aka cryptic), fat used to be good, leikkio, pray, but most of which have quit. Most of these guys aren't the most noted simply because they were good enough to always have a group and not have to pug.

Some guildies of my friend are quite good Monks, although I know some extremely good Monks. *I bet you two know who you are!*
I was trying out this HA team and it went surprisingly well, with the Monks being quite legit.

Good joke yourself.
I honestly don't play HA so I wouldn't know, I've played a few HA battles and gotten semi far but I don't know any specific names to talk about

I know plenty of good players that arn't high ranked. I've also played with tons of R9+ people who have accepted me being R4 complemented me on my monking skills. When asked why they let a lowely R4 n00b into their team they said that Rank doesnt show a players skill, just their time. Yes the people who are higher ranked are normally better. But there are a lot of low ranked people who are really good as well.
As per the OP idk any monks off hand, but i have a few on my friends list that i play with. There's a guy named Oink that taught me a lot about HA healing.

Unfortunately there aren't too many talented people in the game anymore, let alone monks. Most of the people I used to play with haven't loggeed in game for a year or more. Some scarcely log. *tear* I really like Brian as a person, though (I guess you guys know him as Euphoric). I actually never met him through PvP, but rather, DoA! We have been talking ever since (almost two years ago O_O)

Last time I PVPed around a year or 2 ago, there were quite a few good monks. I remember being quite good myself in my short career as a monk, but I hate not doing the damage.

If there are almost no good monks left, then there's a big chance the other team doesn't have a good one either.
Or, train some monks. This requires a good monk in the first place who can teach others.
Or, specialise as a monk yourself and learn all about the fine art of monking.
To answer the question: No, I don't know any good pvp monks who are still playing, only bad ones like myself who play pve and soft pvp.
